Blogging is Super Sensational

Super Sensational sounds redundant and I guess it is but who cares.  I have discovered the fun side of blogging.  Not just do I get to send my thoughts out into the vast array of the internet but I also get to visit and recieve updates from lots of other blogs in my area of interst.  The fun part is that the blog does the work for me.(I know for all you seasoned bloggers that this is nothing new to you but for me it was a huge revelation).  For every blog that I mark as 'Follow' I receive a stream of their latest posts onto my blog's dashboard.  This is tons better than keeping the website in my favorites because the latest articles are automatically streamed to me.  I can read the first few lines of the latest post and then decide if I want to know more.  If I do, I just click on the link and I am routed right to the cool blog.  It is super super easy.

Here is a link to a blog that I have added to my followed blogs. It was  created for our CTMH team under Michell Nist. This blog will have lots of posts using the latest and greatest products from CTMH so I can get lots of clever new ideas from our team members. By the same token if I come up with some great project I can send that in to be posted as well.  http://creativemoose.blogspot.com/2011/02/flip-card-using-sweetheart.html

In my opinion:  Bogging is Super Sensational.

Intermediate Card Class

Take a look at these excellent cards that can be made with the CTMH Sophia workshop. I am hosting one of these workshops on 3/16 and would love to have you join in the fun.  This class will be an intermediate class where YOU do all the cutting according to the workshop instructions.  I will provide guidance and direction.  Please sign up by March 5 in order to secure your place.  Sign up by sending an email request to golfgirl5756@msn.com

Ten things that you should take to a Crop

  1. A list of what projects you plan to accomplish.
  2. Adhesives (various kinds: pop dots, glue dots, scor-tape, etc)
  3. Paper Trimmer
  4. Coordinating Paper for at least five 2-page layouts. (more if the crop is longer than three hours).
  5. Scissors
  6. Selected embellishments (see list of projects to complete).
  7. Selected Pictures
  8. Pens and Pencils (various colors)
  9. Imagin, Cherish, Reflections or Magic how to books by CTMH.
  10. Selected stamps and block sets (see list of projects)
If you are organized and figure out ahead of time what projects you plan to complete then you can reduce the amount of supplies you have to carry. At a crop you can create amazing layouts by using one of the CTMH how to books.  They are fantastic and give you step by step cutting and assembly instructions.  I do all my layouts using one of these books and I am always pleased with the result.  If you need assistance in learning how to best use you CTMH how to book, then let me know.  I am available to assist. Send me a note.

This is IT!

James Allen once said:  "A man sooner or later discovers that he is the master-gardener of his soul, the director of his life."

Our souls need to be fed and we all need an outlet for our creativity. At some point life's changes will take us down the road with turns that we are not prepared to handle.  We will have to rely on our internal compass to help guide us through. Things may be bumpy for a while and then at the end the path will smooth out and flatten out. My creative side is what helps to get me through the bumpy ride. Whether it is working in my garden or creating a beautiful scrapbook page, I know when I see the colors on the page and the creative way the pictures fill the page my heart is lifted and I know the world will right itself again.
