Zach's July 2008

This weekend I met with Zach's mother.  We had quite an agenda.
  • Review the completed work
  • Identify Zach or Zach's Squad in all picutures
  • Reviewed the remainder of the project (creative suggestions) paper, stamps and colors.
  • Cost of project
Deylynn has very specific requirements and wants as many pictures added to each page.  The next page I am working on now are pictures of the parades on Recognition day.  I am using flip flaps to extend the size of each page.  More to come on that project later.

This attachment is July and Zach's Squadron is still at Jack's Valley.

Jack's Valley 2008

Layout created with CTMH stamps and brads.

A new start

Hello friends.  I have been unbelivable busy since Christmas.  I can hardly believe that we are nearing the end of March.  I have been making lots of changes.
  • Started a new job (yippee)
  • Broke my toe
  • Started a scrapbook for a fee
  • Watched the Bachelor
I am lost touch with so many people but as I lose touch with some I am increasing my circle with some close and new friends.  Work is super busy and I am enjoying myself immensely. Each day is a gift and I plan to take my time opening each one.

I am going to be publishing some of the pages thqt I have created for Zach, who is graduating form the AFA this May.  I am doing this project for a friend of my sister-in-law.  It has been great fun as you will see from the pictures I begin to post.

I was not happy with the first round of pictures I took so I am working on doing them over.  Watch for the layouts coming.

Holidays

Hello friends and bloggers. The second half of the year has been extremely challenging for me.  I am still doing project managment contract work and looking for an FTE postions.  Something greate is going to happen real soon.  In the mean time I am making some really cute perpetual calendars for my family for Christmas.  They are turning out so adorable. I will post some pictures after the first of the year.

I did not make Christmas cards this year because I would not have been able to eek out the postage so I am just skipping.  Tonight I will send some ecards because I don't want my family and friends to think that I am a total loser. I will do that this year and hope for better in the years to come.

I hope your holidays are lovely. I am making a commitment to create more postings in 2012.  I want to get back to card challenges and more happy things. I am not sure that I will keep up the classes but will let you all know.

Day 181 of the 365 Card Day Challenge Yippee!

Back in the saddle after a long pause.  I have no excuse just distracted with personal things.  I plan to be more faithful to my craft.  So I am starting with this card for Sketchy Sunday.

This card was created using CTMH paper called Dreamin from the new Fall catalog.  I did reverse stamping on the image to color the image to match the paper.  It is a fun technique.  Sign up for my fall classes and learn this technique and many others.

Round House

Have you ever felt like you have come home to the Round House?  You remember!  The round house is the train station at the end of the line where the engin of the train is turned around to go back in the same direction.  Long days at work bring on these feelings of coming home to the round house.  I've worked such a long day that when I got home I feel like I will only be here long enough to turn around and go back. Not much time in the evening to do much crafting or anything else but go to sleep and return to work.  Not complaining....................Just saying.
