Mix and Match - Day 30

Using products from five different manufacturers:  Bazzill, CTMH, Digi Stamps, Stickles and American Crafts to create this sweet little card.

Day 29 - My signature expression is EXCELLENT!

The word excellent.  I love using it for situations that result in wins for everyone or when someone does something special.  The word excellent says more than "good job" it says that you have performed above and beyond.  People love to feel appreciated and what better way to express it to them by telling them they are EXCELLENT!

You Inspire me - Day 28

Last year a friend of mine created a beautiful card using her scraps.  I was so impressed with this tecnique that it inspired me to repeat the card in my own way.  This is the card I made from my scraps.

This one is for Day 27 of the 365 Day Card Challenge.  Super Sketch Sunday.  This one was fun but it took me forever to get the layers the way I liked them.

D is for distressed - I distressed the card edges and the flower.
E is for Envelope - I made the card look like an envelope package
F is for Fringe - I made my own fringe out of paper.

Sensational

Day 20 of the 365 card day challenge provided a sketch for whcih we were to make a card with the elements in that sketch. Creating this card I used the CTMH March stamp of the month.  These cute little guys are offering to share their carrots. 

Mayberry Scrapbook Workshop

This layout was created using the Mayberry Workshop Kit from CTMH.  I started with the kit but I made it my own.  You can too.  Check the class schedule and sign up for Scrapbooking Club.  You will learn new techniques and tips for modifying layouts to make them your own.

Day 7 of the 365 Day Challenge - Fierce

Change: It affects us all!

The dictionary defines change as: to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone.  As humans it is not in our nature to leave things alone and therefore, change is inevitable. So why are we always taken aback when a change starts to take place. What is the stirring that we feel inside when confronted with change. With me there is an immediate hesitation to embrace the change.  This resistance goes on for an undermined amount of time until the course is readjusted and I can begin to embrace the new path.

I liked this one It was pretty fun creating.

Fun with Fabric Day 3

This one was hard for me because I have a hard time with the paint thickness.  I don't want the finished result to look heavy.  When I use a wash rag to spread the paint I wound up with one solid color.  Thanks for the challenge it has made me step out of my shell.

Open House Success

On Saturday I conducted my first Open House for my CTMH business.  It was GREAT to see my friends and customers stop by.  I hope everyone took home a nice gift.  I loved catching up with all of you and making plans to see you in the future.  Please tell your friends about the blog, the classes and the clubs.  I am just getting started so you guys can be on the ground floor of helping me design the classes and destination.  Whoo Hooo!
